In line with Horizons & Co. Law Firm’s strategy, we are pleased to announce a significant partnership with the Dubai Business Group for Gold and Jewelry Designers a non-profit organisation established under the initiative of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. This initiative aims to support and empower jewelry designers in UAE, enhancing and elevating the local jewelry sector to a global landmark of creativity, solidifying Dubai's unique status as the world's creative capital.
The partnership will see Horizons & Co. serve as the as the strategic partner overseeing the organisation’s legal function, advising on its legal matters, and providing regulatory guidance. The firm will provide specialised legal consultations related to the Group on a voluntary basis to reach the desired goal of promoting "Made in the UAE". Horizons & Co. will also be conducting workshops and trainings for all of the Group’s members in the industry. This agreement will ensure that the Group has ongoing legal support and protection, enhancing their development and supporting the growth of the jewelry industry. It will also boost creativity, making Dubai the preferred destination for jewelry designers from around the world.
An official signing ceremony to formalise this partnership was held yesterday, Monday, 10th June 2024, at 10 AM at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. Representatives from Horizons & Co. included the firm’s Founder and Managing Partner Ali Al Zarooni and Legal Director Lilas Alakhras along with members of the Dubai Business Group's board, including Chairman Maha Al Sibai, Vice Chairman Ali Al Ali, Treasurer Khawla Alnoman, Secretary General Nosheen Bakhsh, Director of Membership & Marketing Vinita Michael and Director of Public Relations Tamara Al Shamari.
