ICC YAAF (Young Arbitration and ADR Forum) event as part of Dubai Arbitration Week – "The Art of Persuasion: Effective Advocacy in International Arbitration"

As part of Dubai Arbitration Week, ICC YAAF is holding an event exploring effective advocacy in international Arbitration, to be held at White & Case LLP’s offices in IDC Brookfield.

Horizons & Co.’s Senior Counsel Paul Blakeway will be speaking at this event as part of a panel providing practical advice and top tips in relation to strategic communication and persuasion techniques in arbitration proceedings.  

The Art of Persuasion: Effective Advocacy in International Arbitration.

This evening event will particularly appeal to young arbitration practitioners, arbitrators and others active in this area and will encompass:

• A keynote address from Chiann Bao, Chartered Arbitrator; Co-Chair, IBA Arbitration Committee; Trustee and Honorary Senior Fellow at BIICL (British Institute of International and Comparative Law).
• Panel 1 - Strategic communication and persuasion techniques.
• Panel 2 – Tips for effective written advocacy.
